Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusion on classification

Acute tests are available on the three trophic levels (i.e. fish, daphnid and algae); all giving L/EC50 values greater than 100 mg/L:

- LC50 96h fishes (OECD 203): 216.7 mg/L

- ErC50 72h Algae (OECD 201): > 325.5 mg/L

- EC50 48h Daphnia (OECD 202): > 334.5 mg/L

Moreover, in an OECD guideline study (Klimisch 1) on activated sludge respiration inhibition, CuDABT did not show toxicity to micro-organisms up to 1000 mg/L test.

The tested substance showed nor bioaccumulation nor persistance potential.

According to all the available data, CuDABT does not require any classification for the environmental part under the 1272/2008/EC regulation, on the basis on the absence of adverse effect at the limit of solubility and the absence of bioaccumulation potential.
