Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The adsorption coefficient of the substance was evaluated by considering data both on the substance itself and on Similar Substance 01. Justification for Read Across is given in Section 13 of IUCLID.

The adsorption coefficient of the substance was estimated in KOCWIN v.2.00 (EpiSuite) by the LogKow and MCI methods and it was found to be:

Koc: 10 l/kg; LogKoc: 1.00 (MCI)

Koc: 2.962 l/kg; LogKoc: 0.4715 (LogKow)

The adsorption coefficient of the similar substance 01 was determined according to the OECD Guideline 121 and EU Method C.19 as Koc = 22, Log Koc= 1.35 at neutral pH. Justification for Read Across is given in Section 13 of IUCLID.

The calculated Koc of the substance is expected to be lower than the one of the similar substance due to its slightly different physicochemical properties (higher water solubility, higher hydrophilicity). Therefore, the calculated data can be considered as reliable and can be used for the evaluation of the substance's behaviour in the environment. Both models are considered as reliable, however, for the chemical safety assessment the value predicted by the LogKow method is used due to the fact that an experimental LogKow was used for the calculation.
