The surface tension at 1 g/L was determined to be 38.5 ± 0.5 mN/m.

Conclusions:
Under the study conditions, the surface tension at nominally 1 g/L of the test substance in water was determined to be 38.5 ± 0.5 mN/m at 20 ± 0.5ºC. Therefore, the test substance was considered to be surface-active.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the surface tension of the test substance, C16 TMA-MS (86.95 % active), using ring method, according to the OECD Guideline 115 and EU Method A.5. Under the study conditions, the surface tension at nominally 1 g/L of the test substance in water was determined to be 38.5 ± 0.5 mN/m at 20 ± 0.5ºC. Therefore, the test substance was considered to be surface-active (Envigo, 2018).
