Test guideline
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
other: ASTM D 6450-12e1 Standard Test Method for Flash Point by Continuously Closed Cup (CCCFP) Tester
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The sample is loaded into the sample cup of the tester and then is heated by a constant rate. The electric arc ignitions are applied periodically in the test chamber, then the flash point can be determined based on the pressure rise in the chamber resulted from the flash occurring.
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
closed cup
Flash point apparatus:
other: Low Temperature Closed-cup Flash Point Tester: MINIFLASH FLPL
