At the higher loading rate (about 100 g/L) an overall mean content in water of 2.69 ± 0.03 g/L was obtained at a pH ca. 3.8. At the lower loading rate (about 10 g/L) an overall mean of 2.67 ± 0.03 g/L was obtained at a pH ca. 6.5. Since there is no significant difference between the two loading rates, the water solubility determination based on summing up of the peak areas of the individual constituents is an appropriate procedure for the test compound. The water solubility of the test compound was calculated based on the mean values of the six assays.

The water solubility of the test item based on evaluation of the peak area sum of four constituents was found to be 2.68 ± 0.03 g/L.

Conclusions:
A water solubility value of 2.68 ± 0.03 g/L (at 20 °C, pH = 3.8-6.5) was determined for the test substance according to OECD 105.
