No experimental data evaluating the adsorption potential of octadecanoic acid, methyl ester (CAS No. 112-61-8) are available. Therefore, QSAR estimations using the KOCWIN v2.00 program (EPISuiteTM) have been performed instead, resulting in log Koc values ranging from 4.7 (MCI method) to 5.5 (log Kow regression method). These values indicate octadecanoic acid, methyl ester shows high potential for adsorption to soil and sediment particles.
