- the study does not need to be conducted because exposure of humans via inhalation is not likely taking into account the vapour pressure of the substance and/or the possibility of exposure to aerosols, particles or droplets of an inhalable size

- The substance is a liquid with a boiling point > 200 °C and a very low vapour pressure. The substance is not expected to be in the form of aerosols, or otherwise sprayed during use. In addition an acute toxicity study, dermal route is available covering a second mode of exposure
