First-aid measures

General: Grossly contaminated clothing: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash before re-use.

Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Continue for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention.

Skin contact: Wash immediately with plenty of water. In case of inflammation (redness, irritation, ...) obtain medical attention.

Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Obtain medical attention if there are persistent symptoms.

Ingestion: Give water to drink. Obtain medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media:

All extinguishing agents can be used (water, foam, powders, carbon dioxide, sand ...). Use extinguishing media that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.

Specific hazards:

Combustion products: carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide (CO), phosphorus oxides (PxOy), phosphines

Specific fire fighting methods:

Usual methods for dealing with chemical fires.

Cool down the containers/equipment exposed to heat with a water spray.

Protection of fire-fighters: Self-contained breathing apparatus. Complete protective clothing.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:

Avoid contact with eyes, skin and respiratory system. Use personal protection.

Environmental precautions:

Keep out of drains and water courses.

Methods for cleaning up:

Recover as much of the product as possible. Avoid creating or spreading dust. Transfer the material to appropriate containers for disposal.

Absorb remaining material or small spills with an inert material and then place in a chemical waste container.

Flush spill area with water.

Handling and storage

Handling

Good industrial practice in housekeeping and personal hygiene should be followed.

Avoid the formation or spread of dust in the atmosphere.

Engineering measures

Provide ventilation to minimize exposure.

Storage

Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.

Stable under normal conditions of handling and storage. Temperature 5 - 30 C
