Biodegradation in water: screening test: For the results of testing the biodegradability of ethyl monochloroacetate in the respirometric test (COD 75% in 28 days) the following evaluation was stated: Ethyl monochloroacetate is readily biodegradable (according to the OECD definition of "readily degradable"). According to OECD TG 301 F, EU Method C.4-D, ISO DIS 9408 and DIN-EN 29408 guidelines. This result is supported by further experimental data on inherent biodegradability (OECD 302B) and estimated data (EPI Suite).
