- Precautionary methods: Ensure adequate ventilation when handling dry product (for example in analysis context). Eyewash should be available at the workplace.
- Breathing protection: During handling that generates dust a respirator with dust filter P3 must be used.
- Hand protection: Use protective gloves of nitrile rubber or neoprene when exposed to the substance. Penetration time for the glove material can vary with the glove's thickness, usage and exposure. Ensure that the glove is intact, without holes or tears.
- Eye protection: Use protective glasses with side shields.
- Other skin protection: Wear suitable protective clothing.
- Exposure limits at the workplace: Copper, dusts and mists (as Cu) Limit value - Eight hours: 1 mg/m³ Limit value - Short term: 2 mg/m³ Cadmium & cadmium compounds as total dust except CdO fume & CdS pigments (as Cd) Limit value - Eight hours: 0,025 mg/m³ Nickel, organic compounds (as Ni) Limit value - Eight hours: (1) mg/m³ Limit value - Short term: 3 mg/m³ Cobalt and compounds (as Co) Limit value - Eight hours: 0,1 mg/m³ Antimony & compounds (as Sb) (except stibine) Limit value - Eight hours: 0,5 mg/m³ Lead and inorganic compounds (as Pb) Limit value - Eight hours: 0.15 mg/m³ Arsenic & compounds, except arsine (as As) as total dust Limit value - Eight hours: 0,1 mg/m³ Silver, metallic Limit value - Eight hours: 0,1 mg/m³

Stability and reactivity

- Stability: Stable under normal conditions.
- Dangerous decomposition products: In case of fire, toxic heavy metal compounds can form.

Disposal considerations

- Removal of remains and waste: Classified as hazardous waste.
- Waste catalogue number Waste material number: 7091 Inorganic salts and other solid matter. EWC-code: 11 02 02 sludges from zinchydrometallurgy (including jarosite, goethite). Specification of the waste material number and EWC-code are for illustrative purposes only. Which waste catalogue number and code to use must be decided by the end user based on the actual use of the product.
- Other: Waste should be recycled. If recycling is not possible, the waste is classified as hazardous waste.
