Description of key information
Testing for avian toxicity is not scientifically justified based on the known toxicity of the substance in mammals and humans in addition to the known toxicokinetics of hydrogen bromide (HBr) and metabolic products. Furthermore, avians are unlikely to be exposed to the substance due to the solubility and dissociation of HBr in water.
