Additional information

The solubility of 1,4 -benzenediamine, N,N'-mixed Ph and tolyl derivs. in n-octanol was assessed according to the shake flask method commonly used in water solubility testing (OECD 105). The study was conducted in a manner that included use of component standards in analyses, providing basis for quantification of each component's solubility.

The solubility of one of the minor components, diphenylamine, in n-octanol was also addressed and was found to be 1420 mg/L.

The reported solubility for DAPD, 8840 mg/L, was calculated as the average of the octanol solubility of the 3 main components.
