Combustion products may contain carbon and nitrogen oxides,
hydrogen chloride gas and soot. The usual extinguishing
media can be used, ie carbon dioxide, foam or fine water
spray.

In case of accidental spillage the product should be taken
up with a vacuum cleaner or swept up following addition of
silicaceous earth. Dispose of in a controlled waste
disposal site or by incineration, according to local
regulations.
Handling and storage
Falls mit Staubbildung zu rechnen ist, örtliche Absaugung
vorsehen und verwenden. Staub nicht einatmen; ggf.
Staubmaske tragen.
Durch die o.g. Maßnahmen sollte der allgemeine
Staubgrenzwert ( 6 mg/m3) deutlich unterschritten werden
(< 1,4 mg/m3), um sogenannte "Overloadphänomene"
(Überforderung der Lungenselbstreinigung) in der Lunge zu
vermeiden.
Bei Gefahr einer Staubexplosion alle potentiellen
Zündquellen aus dem Arbeitsbereich entfernen.

Avoid the formation of dust during handling. If dust is
expected to form, provide and use local exhaust
ventilation. Do not inhale the dust; if necessary, wear a
dust mask.
As a result of the above-mentioned measures, quantities of
dust should fall far below the general dust threshold of 6
mg/m3 (< 1.4 mg/m3) in order to avoid socalled overload
phenomena in the lung.
Remove all potential ignition sources from the working area
in the case of the risk of a dust explosion.
Storage: Industrielle Lagerung in gedeckten Lagerhäusern bei
Raumtemperatur. Übliche Maßnahmen wie bei allen organischen
Verbindungen.
Nicht rauchen, kein offenes Feuer, keine Funkenbildung.
