Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Relative self-ignition temperature:
> 400 °C
Remarks on result:
preliminary test

Any other information on results incl. tables

Flammability: no reaction, the product melts.

Exothermic decomposition: non until 450 °C

Substance dust ignited using sparks conducts to explosion.

Suspended dust: Minimum ignition with inductance: No ignition : 13 mJ / Ignition: 30 mJ

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The auto-ignition temperature of the substance is > 400 °C.
The substance is not hazardous as Class 4.2 "spontaneously combustible solids" or Class 4.1 "Flammable solids". The melting prevents the continued burning of the substance. A classification as as "flammable solids" of Class 4.1 is omitted.
