A number of additional physico-chemical information were obtained by multiply test methods:
Explosion parameters (EN 14034-1:2004):
explosion overload pressure Pmax = 8.3 bar
product specific constant: Kst value = 131 bar m/s
velocity of pressure rise: (dP/dt)max = 482 bar/s
dust explosion class: St 1
lower explosion limit: UEG = 125/m3
ignition temperature (DIN EN 50281-2-1): 420 °C
Minimum ignition energy (DIN EN 13821):
with inductivity: 10 mJ < MIE < 30 mJ / Es = 24 mJ
without inductivity: 300 mJ < MIE < 1000 mJ / Es = 340 mJ
Burning behavior at 20 °C and 100 °C (VDI Richtlinie 2263,): class 5
Smouldering temperature (DIN EN 50281-2-1): > 400 °C
