Camphor white oil is a clear, colourless, mobile liquid at ambient temperature; it doesn't undergo freezing down to -20°C, and distillates between ca 155 and 172°C. It is expected to float over water, because of its very low relative density (ca 0.88), and slight to moderate solubility of its major components (2 to 3500 mg/L). Some of them may also exhibit moderate volatility (up to ca 630 Pa) and potential for bioaccumulation (log K > 4). No surface-active properties are anticipated from composition.
Based on its flash point of ca 46°C, Camphor white oil will be classified as a Flammable liquid (cat.3, according to CLP criteria).
It is not regarded as hazardous with regard to other physical hazard classes (explosivity, self-reactive nor oxidising properties).
It should be noted that, as a Natural Complex Substance, the above properties of Camphor white oil may exhibit some variations.
