Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

From the results of the DSC-measurements in aluminium crucibles and the capillary measurements it can be concluded that the test item has no boiling point under atmospheric conditions. The test item decomposes at 245-340°C.

Additional information

The determination of the boiling point was carried out according to OECD guidline No. 103 by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Two measurements in aluminium crucibles with a hole showed several endothermic effects in the temperature ranges of ambient temperature to 80 °C, 105 – 160 °C, 190 – 290 °C and 360 – 430 °C. However none of these signals showed the typical behaviour for a melting or boiling.

An additional measurement with the capillary method was performed in order to clarify the results of the DSC measurements. The test item has no boiling point under atmospheric conditions. The test item decomposes at 245 -340°C.
