- The test substance showed an exothermic reaction, starting at an oven temperature of approx. 280 degrees Celsius. During this reaction, the test substance reached a maximum temperature of 320 degrees Celsius.

- The test substance did not reach 400 degrees Celsius by self-ignition

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In accordance with EU Method A.16 (1984) and according to GLP principles the self-ignition temperature of the substance was determined using a temperature programmed laboratory oven, a stainless steel wire mesh cube, NiCr/NiAl thermocouples and a temperature recording device. Based on the results obtained the substance is considered „not self-ignitable‟ in accordance with EU Method A.16.
