According to Regulation (EC) No. 1907 (2006), Annex VIII, column 2, the study needs not be conducted if based on the physicochemical properties the substance can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption (e.g. the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient), or the substance and its degradation products decompose rapidly. Both specifications are applicable for the test substance. Therefore, the study on adsorption/desorption shall be waived. Henry's Law Constant not determined, however can be assumed to be a negligible value, as in the melting point study the substance decomposed at 255 °C prior to melting, which indicates an extremely low vapour pressure. Further data on transport/distribution are not available.
