Registration Dossier

Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air, allow to rest and keep warm.
Administer artificial respiration if breathing has stopped.
Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes, keeping eyelids open. Seek medical attention
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. Remove any
contaminated clothing and launder before reuse. If specific
symptoms are evident, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse mouth out with water, but do not give anything to
drink. Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: All extinguising media suitable for use.

Protective equipment: Wear suitable protective clothing e.g self-contained
breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Recover by sweeping or vacuuming. Place into suitable
container for safe disposal.

Handling and storage

Handling: Wear gloves. Use with adequate ventilation. Minimize dust
generation and accumulation. Avoid contact with skin and
eyes. Do not ingest or inhale.

Storage: Keep in tightly closed, clearly labelled containers. Store
in a cool, well-ventilated place

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Keep in tightly closed, clearly labelled containers.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Discharge to the environment will be minimal. Recovery from
minor spillages or accidental discharges is not economically
or technically feasible and such waste material will be
disposed of by incineration or landfill. In principle, it
may be possible to recover larger spillages of
uncontaminated material for subsequent use.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The notification tests have shown that the substance is not
considered hazardous to health. The potential dust explosion
hazard will be minimised by appropriate storage, handling
and ventilation.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Contaminated containers or spillages of solutions mixed with
inert material (e.g. sand or soil) may be disposed of by
landfil at an authorised tip in accordance with local
regulations.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The substance can be disposed of by inceration by burning
under controlled conditions at a licensed waste treatment
processor in accordance with local regulations. Stack gases
should be scrubbed, because noxious fumes (e.g. carbon and
nitrogen oxides) could be formed.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance should not normally be discharged directly to
the sewage system or the aqueous environment.
