The boiling range of TFEE-5 extrapolated to 101.325 kPa is 222-225 °C

The boiling point of TFEE-5 was 222-223 °C as determined by the method of Siwoloboff at 96.92 kPa per OECD TG103 and EC440/2008.A.2. This value was extrapolated to 225 °C at 101.325 kPa (standard pressure) using boiling points measured at 1 and 45 kPa. In addition, data from the vapour pressure study (obtained by dynamic ebulliometry according to OECD TG104 and EC440/2008.A.4, and in accord with GLP criteria) can be extrapolated to give a boiling temperature of 226 °C. The highest vapor pressure measured in this study was 90 kPa. Both studies are considered reliable with restrictions, but together support a boiling range of 222-225°C
