guideline study with acceptable restrictions
Qualifier:
equivalent or similar to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 104 (Vapour Pressure Curve)

2-Ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA) was run as a control allowing for benchmarking of the developed method with literature values. Two literature values exist for 2-EHA, 0.01 mmHg at 20°C (NTP, 1992) and 0.178 mmHg at 25°C (Daubert and Danner, 1989). The average of five test results for 2-EHA showed a vapor pressure of 0.015 mm Hg at 18°C.

Conclusions:
MTDID 44428 has a calculated vapor pressure of 0.048 mm Hg at 18 °C.
Executive summary:

The vapor pressure of MTDID 44428 was measured using the gas saturation method, with measurement by thermal desorption gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. The measurement was benchmarked by measurement of 2 -ethylhexyl acrylate vapor pressure, with good agreement with literature values. The study was performed in accordance with a guideline study but not GLP compliant. Therefore, the study is considered reliable with restrictions.

Conclusions:
MTDID 44428 has an extrapolated vapor pressure of 2.2E-4 mm Hg at 20 °C (8.4E-4 mm Hg at 25 °C). Extrapolated from experimental data (ASTM E 1719-97).
Executive summary:

The vapor pressure of MTDID 44428 was measured using the dynamic method and extrapolated to lower temperatures using the Antoine equation. The study was performed in accoradance with ASTM E 1719 -97 guideline but not GLP compliant. Therfore, the study is considered reliable with restrictions.

Additional information

The study was performed in accordance with a guideline study but not GLP compliant. The study is considered reliable with restrictions.

In a second study, the vapor pressure of MTDID 44428 was measured using the dynamic method and extrapolated to lower temperatures using the Antoine equation. The study was performed in accoradance with ASTM E 1719 -97 guideline but not GLP compliant. Therfore, the study is considered reliable with restrictions.
