Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the flammability of the test substance according to the standard EU A.10 and UN guidelines as well as GLP.

The preliminary screening test was performed for the determination of the flammability of the test substance. No propagation of combustion of the test substance along 200 mm length of the pile within 4 minutes was observed. According to the guidelines, performance of the burning rate test is not required.

Based on the results obtained, the test substance was considered ‘not highly flammable’.

Description of key information

The flammability was determined according to EU Method A.10 and UN no. ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.5 (test no.1) (Baltussen, 2012).

Key value for chemical safety assessment
