Acute studies on aquatic organisms of two different trophic levels, plants and invertebratesm, are available. The most sensitive organism regarding acute toxicity to aquatic organisms were algae. In a test on Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata an EC50 of 0.847 mg/l was determined based on initially measured test concentration. In a test on the second species, Daphnia magna, an EC50 of 2.35 mg/l after 48 hours (BASF SE, 2018) based on the arithmetic mean initially measured concentrations of the test item has been determined.
