The sample of test item was visually assessed at 20.0°C ± 0.5°C to be pale yellow.

Executive summary:

OPPTS 830.6302, OPPTS 830.6303 – The physical state and colour of the test item was determined using visual assessment.  The procedure employed was designed to be compatible with the EPA’s OPPTS 830.6302 and OPPTS 830.6303 (OCSPP) guideline method of August 1996.

An aliquot of test item was transferred to a clear glass open topped container and equilibrated in a water bath at 20.0 °C ± 0.5 °C for 45 minutes.  The sample was then placed on a white background and viewed under natural light.  The physical state was visually assessed, the colour was visually assessed and assessed using the Munsell® Colour System.

The sample of test item was visually assessed at 20 °C ± 0.5 °C to be a pale yellow solid (Munsell colour code: 5Y 9/2).
