First-aid measures

Description of first-aid measures:
If inhaled: Remove victim to fresh air. If symptoms occur and persist: Get medical advice/attention.
In case of skin contact: Wash with soap and water.
In case of eye contact: Rinse eyes cautiously for several minutes, occasionaly parting eye lids. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention,
If swallowed: Rinse mouth. If you feel unwell: Get medical advice/attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide (CO2), dry powder, foam, water mist
Unsuitable extinguishing media: None

Special hazards arising from the substance
Specific hazards during firefighting: Product undergoing thermal decomposition may release irritation or toxic gases.

Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for firefighters: Body covering protective clothing, full "turn-out" gear. Self-contained breathing apparatus (EN 133)
Further information: Prevent fire extinguishing water from contaminating surface water or the ground water system.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Remove all sources of ignition. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective equipment.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow contact with soil, surface or ground water. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.

Methods for cleaning up: Collect spillage and place in a suitable for container for disposal in accoradance with local regulations.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling
Advice on safe handling: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wear personal protective equipment. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing vapour/mist. Keep container tightly closed.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Keep container tightly closed. Keep in a well-ventilated place.
