- Suitable extinguishing media:

Water spray, foam, CO2, dry powder.

- Unsuitable extinguishing media:

high volume water jet

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

Carbon oxides

- Advice for fire fighter: In the case of fire, wear respiratory protective equipment independent of surrounding air and chemical protective suit.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions:

Wear personal protective equipment; see section "Exposure controls/personal protection"

Ensure adequate ventilation.

Do not inhale vapours / aerosols.

- Environmental precautions:

Product or extinguishing water with product must not be al-lowed to enter soil, sewers or natural bodies of water.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

-- Methods for cleaning up: Absorb with liquid-binding material, e. g.: diatomaceous earth, sand, universal binder

Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling:

-- Advice on safe handling:

Observe the rules usually applicable when handling chemicals.

Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at machinery.

Do not allow individual / bulk containers to stand open

-- Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
