The sample shows no significant thermal events from 25°C to 1000°C. This result is consistent with the fact that the pigment is considered a solid solution of Co2SiO4 and Zn2SiO4 (melting points 1345 °C and 1509 °C respectively)*, so its melting point is expected to be higher than the maximum temperature of the assay.
