Additional information

One reliable key study is available on the reaction mass of 2,4,6 -tris(1 -phenylethyl)phenol and Bis(1 -phenylethyl)phenol for this endpoint.

In this study (KRACK, 2010), the oxidising properties of a mixture of DSP/TSP has been determined according to the method A.21 of European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 and the GLP.Due to the fact that the 1:1 mixture, by mass, of test item and cellulose has a pressure rise time higher than that of a 1:1 mixture, by mass, of 65 % nitric acid and cellulose or did not even reach a pressure of 2070 kPa the test item has no oxidizing properties.
