Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Freezing point: 36ºC
Executive summary:

The freezing point was determined according to EU Method A.1. The test substance was heated in a 100°C oven until fully melted.  The sample was then stirred continuously while allowed to cool to room temperature.  The temperature was recorded continuously throughout the cooling. Plotted the temperature vs. time.  Determined the freezing point using this graph. Freezing point is 36°C (average of two replicates (35°C and 37°C)).
