Diisobutyl ketone has a low potential for bioaccumulation and is readily biodegradable having a log Koc of 2.07 and a predicted BCF value of 130 L/kg. Direct or indirect exposure to the soil compartment is unlikely as diisobutyl ketone has a low potential for adsorption to soil and moderate water solubility. The risk assessment shows that the estimated PEC/PNEC ratios are clearly <1 indicating no further information or testing is needed. No terrestrial toxicity testing is proposed.
