Additional information

The short-term toxicity of the test item to aquatic invertebrates was determined in a EPA OPP 72 -2 guideline and GLP study. Twenty daphnids were exposed to the test substance per each of nominal concentrations of 0, 79, 131, 222, 364, 606 and 1010 μg /L under static regime. Twenty daphnids were impartially distributed to each concentration (five daphids per replicate) within 20 minutes after the test solution had been prepared . Daphnids were not fed during the exposure. The actual concentrations of test substance was not verified. In all test concentrations an effect was visible at the end of the test. All daphnids died at 222 μg /L onwards at 48h. The 48h EC50 was determined as 92 µg/L.
