Description of key information

Based on its structure and components, the test substance GARDO TP 10451 was examined in flammability properties in contact with water and pyrophoric properties. Neither pyrophoric properties nor high flammability (contact with water) are expected for GARDO TP10451.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
non flammable

Additional information

The chemical structure of GARDO TP10451 does not contain chemical groups, capable of causing the development of a dangerous amount of (flammable) gas (e.g. hydrogen), when in contact with damp air or water. Therefore test substance is not considered highly flammable (contact with water). Also from the structural formula of GARDO TP 10451 it can be concluded that it is not pyrophoric.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The test substance GARDO TP 10451 is unclassified for flammability according to CLP/GHS.
