Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Key study: Test method OECD 301F and EU Method C.4-D. GLP study. The substance is not readily biodegradable under the test conditions.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

Key study: The determination of the ready biodegradability of the substance in an aerobic aqueous medium with manometric respirometry method was carried out according to OECD 301F and EU C.4-D Method (GLP study). At the 28th day of the test the measured aerobic biodegradation of the test item equals 0.0%. The test item can be assumed, to some extent, to be inhibitor of activated sludge (23.9% biodegradation on day 14th, in the toxicity test). Most likely, the test substance is both non-biodegradable and, in some degree, toxic to activated sludge.
