Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The purpose of this study was the determination of the relative density of the test item according to the European Commission Regulation (EC) no. 440/2008, Part A: Methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties, A.3 Relative Density; method: Gas comparison pycnometer and OECD test guideline, OECD 109 (1995) Density of liquids and solids and DIN 66137 -2 (2004) Determination of solid state density, Part 2: Gas pycnometry The relative density at ambient temperature (compared to water at 4 °C) is D4R= 2.97. The ambient temperature was determined to be 21.6°C±0.2 °C.
The density of the solid was measured at ambient temperature (R)(21.6 °C +/- 0.2 °C) with a calibrated gas comparison pycnometer.
