Culex pipiens were exposed to sodium bromide in test waters for 25 days in a semi-static toxicity test. Observations of mortality and development were used to determine the LOEC and NOEC values. The 25 day NOEC was found to be 100 mg/L sodium bromide based on both of the observation criteria, mortality and development.
