Additional information

Based upon the information contained within this section it is clear that the registered substance is toxic to the aquatic environment, however inadequate information is available to allor for classification of the substance for the environment at the time. Therefore the classification according to 67/548/EEC of R50/R53 Very toxic to aquatic organisms and may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment, and, Hazardous to the aquatic environment: Acute, category 1, according to EC Regulation 1272/2008, are considered an over classification which is necessary at this point.

Should additional more adequate information on the potential for aquatic toxicity become available then this classification should be revised.
