Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusion on classification

The available data are considered reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation 1272/2008. The UVCB substance is of very low water solubility (< 0.005 mg/L).

Acute L(E)C50 values of Daphnia and algae are > 100 mg/L and no effects were observed in a chronic toxicity test with fish (in absence of acute toxicity data with fish),

Chronic data on three trophic levels are available showing toxicity. None of the species showed a toxicity response of EC10/NOECs < 1 mg/L.  The log Pow is > 4 and the BCF experimentally determined with a constituent (CAS 27177 -41 -9) which represents the worst case scenario concerning bioavailability and bioaccumulation is > 500 (BCF411 to 1730). Based on these data and despite of the lack of degradability the substance is not classified for environmental hazards under Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
