Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusion on classification

The short-term LC50 or EC50 values were 6.7, >14 and 2.5 mg/l, for fish, daphnia and algae, respectively. Therefore, based on the available short-term data, Cyclaprop does not need to be classified for acute aquatic toxicity according EU CLP (EC 1272/2008 and its amendments).

For Cyclaprop adequate chronic toxicity data are available for three trophic levels. According to the EU CLP, Figure 4.1.1, in case chronic test data are available for all three trophic levels, the chronic classification should be determined based on data from chronic tests. The lowest NOEC / EC10 from these chronic tests is a 33d-EC10 of 0.91 mg/L for fish. Therefore, based on the available chronic data in combination with its non-rapidly degradability, Cyclaprop needs to be classified as H411 according to EU CLP (EC 1272/2008 and its amendments).

For GHS: The acute toxicity of 2.5 mg/l results in Acute Cat. 2 (H401).
