Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Stability

The substance is of low volatility and moderate water solubility.

Hydrolysis

The substance hydrolyses slowly under environmental conditions.

Biodegradation

The ready biodegradability of the test substance was conducted according to the OECD guideline 301B: CO2 evolution (modified Sturm test). Under the test conditions, the test substance partially degraded (20 -33%) over the test period of 28 days. Furthermore, the test substance showed no inhibitory effect on the microorganisms. Therefore, the test substance was found to be not readily but partially biodegradable under the test conditions. Additionally, the degradation products were identified with QSAR predictions.

Bioaccumulation

Bioaccumulation: aquatic / sediment

No reliable experimental data on the test substance are available, therefore the bioaccumulation potential of the substance was assessed in a weight of evidence approach using several QSAR calculations. Regarding the results, the calculated BCF values range from 3 (VEGA) to 253 (EPISuite v4.11, regression-based estimate). The BCF was determined to be < 500 (threshold relevant for classification under Regulation 1272/2008/EC), therefore, the test substance does not accumulate in organisms.

Furthermore, none of the identified degradation products fulfill the screening criteria for B or vB according to REACH Annex XIII.

Transport and distribution: Adsorption/Desorption

The substance has a moderate to low mobility in soil. Adsorption to the solid soil phase is expected.
