Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No test for the substance itself is available. However, a valid read across to a structurally very similar substance (Decyloxirane)is possible: The LC 50 of the test item was found to be 1.11 mg/L (Non-GLP, equivalent or similar to OECD 203)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water fish

Fresh water fish
Effect concentration:
1.11 mg/L

Additional information

The short-term toxicity to fish was tested with Poecilia reticulata (guppy) in a non-standard study equivalent or similar to OECD 203. In a 14 -day semi-static study with at least 5 different concentrations in a geometrically increasing factor of 1.8, 10 fish were exposed to each concentration. The LC50 -values were calculated from log-it analysis. In this test, the test item revealed a LC50 of 1.11 mg/L (Deneer et al., 1988)
