Relative density (water = 1): 1.5 (NIOSH), 1.538 at 25°C (INRS) (NB: applies to liquefied gas).Relative gas density (air = 1): 5.1 (NIOSH), 5.14 (calculated), 5.3 (INRS).
The vapour is heavier than air and may accumulate in low ceiling spaces causing deficiency of oxygen (NIOSH, INRS).
Not combustible. Heating will cause rise in pressure with risk of bursting (NIOSH -NB: applies to liquefied gas in closed recipient).
