Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

There was no melting point but a melting range between approximately 25 - 51°C.

Method: OECD TG 102.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
25 °C

Additional information

A melting range between approx. 25 °C and 51 °C was observed due to the detected endothermal effect. The melting process was found to be not reversible. After cooling down a one-time melted sample, which was previously heated up marginally above the melting range (55 °C), the physical condition of the sample remained in form of a viscous liquid. The test item did not recrystallise.
