First-aid measures

In case of skin contact: Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water, followed by warm water rinse.

In case of eyes contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking or redness persist.

In case of ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth. Obtain emergency medical attention.

In case of inhalation: Assure fresh air breathing. Allow the victim to rest.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Foam. Dry powder. Carbon dioxide. Water spray. Sand.

Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Do not use a heavy water stream.

Surrounding fires: Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Under fire conditions, hazardous fumes will be present.

Advice for firefighters: Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection. Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire. Avoid (reject) fire-fighting water to enter environment.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedure: Equip cleanup crew with proper protection. Ventilate area. Evacuate unnecessary personnel.

Environmental precautions: Prevent entry to sewers and public waters. Notify authorities if product enters sewers or public waters.

Clean up methods: Collect spillage. Store away from other materials. Soak up spills with inert solids, such as clay or diatomaceous earth as soon as possible.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eat, drink or smoke and when leaving work. Provide good ventilation in process area to prevent formation of vapour.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep only in the original container in a cool, well ventilated place. Keep container closed when not in use. Avoid : >50ºC;<-10ºC. Store away from strong bases, strong acids and sources of ignition.
