Ethylbenzene has harmonized classification in the EU and it is classified as Acute toxicity - inhalation: Acute Tox. 4; H332: Harmful if inhaled, according to the GHS criteria of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (Annex VI, table 3.1) and Acute toxicity: Xn; R20 Harmful; Harmful by inhalation, according to the DSD/DPD criteria of Annex I of Directive 67/548/EEC and as reported in Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (Annex VI, table 3.2).
