Method

Knudsen cell effusion method coupled to a micro-balance.

The vapour pressure is calculated from the experimental data using the Knudsen equation.

Then, log P is plotted versus 1/T to extrapolate the vapour pressure at 25 °C (linear relationship).

The vapour pressure of LCE10034-distilled acetalization product between glucose and C12/18 alcohol extrapolated at 25 °C is 2.67 x 10-3 Pa.
