Additional information

According to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, general endpoint requirements for a registration include data on the ready biodegradability. According to the structure, the substance is not expected to fulfill the stringent criteria of a ready biodegradation test. However, triafamone will be degraded under environmental conditions by microbial activity within a short time period (DT50 < 10 days). This was proven in several soil and water/sediment simulation studies according to OECD guidelines 307/308.
