Additional information

The aerobic degradation of diethylaminopropylamine (DEAPA) has been assessed during 28 days according to OECD Guideline 301A and under GLP requirements (BASF, 2005). The results have shown that 90 -100% of the substance is degraded after 28 days. The substance was thus considered as readily biodegradable. Validity criteria were fulfilled.

An OECD 302B test has also been performed. 96% of DEAPA was degraded after 18 days but the activated sludge used in this test was from industrial waste water treatment plant.
