Conclusions:
The tested material does not have oxidizing properties in accordance with test A.17 criteria.

Executive summary:

The study of determination of the oxidizing properties of the test substance was performed according to method A.17 Oxidizing properties for solids, following the principles of GLP. No vigorous reaction was observed in the preliminary test. The main test was performed with mixtures of test substance with cellulose in a range from 10 % to 90 % of cellulose content. Barium nitrate(V) was used as reference substance and reference mixtures were tested with the same contents of cellulose as those used for the test substance mixtures. The maximal burning rate of the reference mixtures was 1.74 mm/s whereas the test substance mixtures did not burn completely or did not ignite. Based on this result, it is concluded that the tested material does not have oxidizing properties.
