Key result
Melting / freezing pt.:
-38.9 °C
Remarks on result:
other: mean value

Two assays were performed and complied with the accuracy criteria (+/- 0.5°C up to 326.9°C). In these two assays, the cooling phase was performed from 25°C to -100°C at 10°C/min and a heating phase from -100°C to 100°C at 10°C/min.

Conclusions:
The melting point of the test item was determined to be -38.9°C +/- 0.5°C.
Executive summary:

The melting point of the test item was determined using the DSC method according to recognised guidelines and under GLP. No deviation from the guidelines was observed during the test.

Before measurements with the test item, the reliability of the apparatus was checked with a reference item. The result obtained was in accordance with the theoretical value, therefore the apparatus was considered conform for the test item melting point determination.

The melting point was determined to be -38.9°C (average of two assays).

Description of key information

The melting point of the test item was determined in a key study of Klimisch validity one, performed according to recognised guideline and under GLP.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
